GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
- By placing an order on the THEDOUBLEE online store, the Customer declares to have read all the information provided during the purchase procedure, and to fully accept the general conditions and payment terms transcribed below.
- The Customer's right to compensation for damages or indemnity, as well as any contractual or extra-contractual liability for direct or indirect damages to persons and/or property caused by the non-acceptance, even partial, of an order, is excluded. In the event of unforeseen unavailability of goods, no charge will be made to the Customer.
- It is possible that order processing may be delayed due to the detection of one or more system errors. In this case, the customer will be contacted via email (provided during checkout) to request more information/documentation for the completion of order processing. If no response is provided within 3 days of THEDOUBLEE sending the email to the customer, the order will be canceled and partially refunded within 24 hours. (only if the requested documentation was not provided, a percentage equal to 20% will be withheld during the refund phase)
- When placing an order on THEDOUBLEE, THEDOUBLEE will confirm the order within 24 hours of the sale. Furthermore, shoebuya has up to 10 business days to fulfill the order and consequently provide the courier tracking to monitor the shipping progress. All orders fulfilled by Shoebuya will be provided with tracking from the competent courier in the shipping area.
- The order can be canceled as long as the courier tracking has not been provided. Once it is provided to the customer, the order can no longer be canceled. In the event of a request for order cancellation, the refund will be total and will be credited using the same payment method used during checkout.
- THEDOUBLEE may cancel the order for reasons such as: product unavailability, out of stock, or other reasons. When THEDOUBLEE cancels an order, it is not obliged to provide the customer with information about the reason for the cancellation, but the customer will be notified via email of the cancellation and refunded within 48 hours using the same payment method used during checkout.
PURCHASE METHODS
- The correct receipt of the order is confirmed by the THEDOUBLEE system via an e-mail response, sent to the e-mail address provided by the Customer. This confirmation message will include the Date and Time of the order, an "Order Number", to be used in all further communications with the THEDOUBLEE system.
- It is the Customer's responsibility to register with correct data and to keep such data updated using their access credentials.
- An account is required for purchase; reliance is placed on the data transmitted by the customer.
PRIVACY
- The personal data requested during the order placement phase are collected and processed in order to satisfy the Customer's express requests and will in no case and under no circumstances be transferred to third parties. THEDOUBLEE guarantees its customers compliance with the regulations on the processing of personal data, governed by the privacy code referred to in Legislative Decree 196 of 30.06.03. - THEDOUBLEE uses Google Analytics, a data analysis tool provided by Google Ireland Limited. The data controller on this site resides in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, and Google Analytics data processing is carried out by Google LLC. APPLICABLE LAW
- The sales contract between the Customer and THEDOUBLEE is understood to be concluded in Italy and governed by Italian Law. For the resolution of civil and criminal disputes arising from the conclusion of this distance sales contract, if the Customer is a consumer, the territorial jurisdiction is that of the court of reference of their municipality of residence.
